Recreational activities
Here at Bronté we like to keep our residents active physically, socially, and
mentally by way of the many recreational features we have to offer, including
activities such as a selection of videos, musical sessions, bingo sessions, card
games, board games as well as health, beauty and co-ordination exercises.
Theatre and/or shopping trips can be arranged as well and the
local mobile library that visits on a
fortnightly basis. A greenhouse is available with a full range of gardening
equipment for any residents who are interested, as garden borders provide a
great challenge.
Here below are some photos of some of the many activities that are made
available,

The N.E.L.E. Programme
The Necessary Enhancement of life for the Elderly (N.E.L.E.). Takes place twice
weekly in the lounge. It is a seated programme of musical exercise and movement.
The activities programme at Bronte aims to provide both mental and physical
stimulation for our residents to ensure they remain active and interact with
fellow residents.
The large Koi Carp pond
We also encourage other outside activities in and around our well kept,
cultivated rose gardens, which incorporate a large Koi carp fish pond with
peaceful surroundings, where residents may sit and relax in the many available
places such as on the patio area, enjoying the lovely well kept flower beds,
summer house and sheltered areas which are available to all residents within
Bronté’s large gardens.
