Introduction to Bronté
The Residents
living at Bronté describe the home as being the nearest resemblance to living at
home. There is a certain warmth, a strong feeling of vitality, as well as a
feeling of companionship. The experience you would notice is part of our
dedication to quality that we insist upon, which ranges from the spacious and
attractive residential bedrooms which are all fitted with en-suite facilities
(that include a W.C. and washbasin) to the cheerful lounges, recreational garden
areas and the Koi Carp fishpond. Also all rooms are on a ground floor level with
adequate handrails and wide opening doors.
Our purpose at Bronté Residential Care Home is to
provide a consistent, high standard of care that allows the people we care for
to live as normally as possible in an environment where their individuality,
independence and dignity are respected and upheld.
With a team of
fully trained and attentive, skilled care staff Bronté is more than an
alternative, it is an experience in receiving good quality care aimed at you and
those you love.
All of our staff
undertake extensive induction training and they all work in three shifts,
covering both day and night. At each change of shift, incoming staff are updated
during a short handover session.
"Bronté must be
seen to be appreciated, lived in to be loved."
Bronté upholds all health and safety by implementing
all current Fire Regulations with notices, and fire extinguishers located
throughout the building. Fire exits are clearly marked, but if you are in any
doubt please feel free to contact us through our contact page and ask. We have
always taken fire safety training very seriously, and this has been favourably
commented upon in our fire inspection reports. So all of our staff are given
full fire training at regular intervals in order to keep our standards high.
Also Bronté Residential Care home has been Accredited
by Devon County Council and registered with the Care Quality Commission.
